Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about RC Vault USA — shipping, products, returns and RC buying advice.

Ordering & Shipping

Do you ship to all US states?

Yes — RC Vault USA ships to all 50 US states. Most orders ship within 1 business day from our Las Vegas, NV warehouse. Standard delivery takes 3–7 business days depending on your location.

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes! We ship to all Canadian provinces including Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec and Saskatchewan. Canadian orders typically arrive in 7–14 business days. Customs fees may apply.

How do I get free shipping?

Free standard shipping applies automatically to all orders over $199 within the contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii and Canada may have additional shipping charges.

How long does delivery take?

Standard US shipping takes 3–7 business days. Expedited 2-day and overnight options are available at checkout. Canada typically 7–14 business days.

Can I track my order?

Yes — you'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. You can track your order in real time from the shipping carrier's website.

Products & Brands

What RC brands do you carry?

We stock Traxxas, Arrma, Losi, Team Associated, Redcat, Axial, HPI Racing, Kyosho, Tekno RC and Xpress. New brands are added regularly.

Are your products genuine?

Absolutely. Every product we sell is 100% genuine from authorised US distributors. We do not sell grey market imports, refurbished or counterfeit products.

What is the difference between RTR and a kit?

RTR (Ready-To-Run) means the vehicle comes fully assembled with electronics, motor, ESC and radio gear included — just add a battery and you're ready to drive. A kit requires you to build and source your own electronics.

What scale should I buy?

1/10 scale is the most popular for beginners and intermediate drivers — it's a good size, widely available and has tons of parts. 1/8 is bigger and more powerful, great for bashing. 1/18 and 1/24 are great for indoor or beginner use.

Brushed vs brushless — which should I choose?

Brushless motors are more powerful, efficient and durable than brushed motors. Brushed is fine for beginners on a budget. If you want to grow into the hobby, start brushless.

Returns & Warranty

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy on all unused, unopened products. If you receive a defective product, contact us within 30 days and we'll replace it or issue a full refund.

How do I return a product?

Email contact@rcvaultusa.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll send you a prepaid return label for defective items. Buyer-remorse returns may have return shipping deducted.

Does warranty cover crashes?

No — manufacturer warranties cover factory defects only, not crash damage. However, most RC vehicles are built to be bashed and parts are widely available to repair crash damage.

How long are warranties?

Warranty periods vary by brand. Traxxas offers a no-fault TQ Lifetime Warranty on their radio systems. Most vehicles carry a 90-day to 1-year manufacturer warranty on defective parts.

RC Buying Guide

What's the best RC car for a beginner?

For beginners, we recommend the Traxxas Rustler 4X4 VXL (brushless, 4WD, durable), the Arrma Granite 4X4 3S (great value, tough) or the Redcat Volcano EPX Pro (budget-friendly). All are RTR and come with everything you need.

What's the best rock crawler?

Axial is the gold standard for crawlers. The SCX24 Jeep JLU ($99) is perfect for beginners. The SCX10 III ($499) is the definitive trail truck. For ultimate scale realism, the Axial SCX6 Jeep JLU ($799) is unbeatable.

What battery and charger do I need?

Most RTR brushless vehicles require a LiPo battery (2S, 3S, 4S, 6S or 8S depending on the model) and a LiPo balance charger. Always check the product page for recommended battery specs. Never leave a charging LiPo unattended.

What does "6S" or "8S" mean?

S refers to the number of LiPo cells in series. More S = higher voltage = more power. A 2S LiPo is 7.4V, 3S is 11.1V, 4S is 14.8V, 6S is 22.2V and 8S is 29.6V. Always match your battery to the ESC's rated voltage.
